Immediately after the denouement of the Second World War people began to think that the world’s ground values are understandable and consistent . Both global politics and social relations were counting on the concepts of advancement , positive changes , confidence in science , enlightenment , technical innovations , and the ability to reason any phenomenon from a rational viewpoint . Notwithstanding , beginning from the second half of the 60’s, the world commenced to degrade and currently , 40 years later , we live in a new kind of reality .
We easily note all innovations which are given us by new technology, but we seldom come to realize the fact that there are some concepts standing behind those inventions . The nature of the future change was at first noticed by those people, who as a rule lived ahead of their time – poets and authors. Among the numerous authors whose books have served for pleasure , there have been several of them who have given the planet a new vision . They have better than others other people molded and worded new thoughts and have ultimately molded a brand new intelligent and emotional grounding of the future. They have found problems in the mundane of our lives and have shed light onto a array of problems, which were going on without being noted . They have helped us to become aware of the new problems , and gave us new aspirations .
These were the authors who have formed the vision of the entire generation, which has live through the times of cardial change; change, which was seen as anarchy at the beginning of the 21 first century. They have turned our attention to the most burning problems of the last era ; those problems , which the people , having lived through the global wars and unseen sufferings , was unwilling to deal with . Finally they were raising the main question “What will our future be like?”

They have all much influenced literature of their time, have depicted looks and dilemmas which were classic to their people and the period of time they existed in, and have made the readers analyze the running set of values, having them understand that it is far from being perfect. One of the most fascinating angle of their work is that in mostly they have evoked the audience attention in books and written matter. In this aspect one of the most exciting success writings is that of a famous writer Lewis Carroll .
The success of Joan Rowling can be called special as she has found herself to be the first author in the world to make $1 billion by authoring fairytales. She is now spending a huge part of her money on charity, battling poverty and illness. The plot of the book was found while she was on the train from Manchester to London. When the publisher has first decided to print her book, she has awarded her 1500 pounds together with a kind piece of advice — to look for a stable job. He was unaware of the fact that the young author would be able to make money of writing. Joann has showed the opposite - having published a number of amazing fairytales, she has made the so-called non-reading people get back to reading books.
This work is not able to name and more or less exactly list all authors who have made their gift to the today’s literature. They have been writing and presenting ideas exactly into the minds of the millions, and therefore were shaping the future. Thus, as we can see, these writers were not creating for entertainment only, but they were also playing a considerable part in shaping the culture and the sights of a society of the 20th century.
